A Taste of Russia

On Wednesday, January 14th, Pastor Kevin’s Home Group will host a Russia Missions Partnership Dinner.  Join in on an authentic Russian meal and interact with our Russian missionaries, Dave & Kathy Wolf.

 

Monthly Prayer Focus 

As we focus this month on our Worship Ministry, please pray for deeper creativity and inspiration.  Also, that our worship team would be fully engaged for worship and attentive to the Holy Spirits leading. “Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me.” (Psalms 31:3)

Breakthrough at Mt. Hope Church

 Join the 27-hour prayer & fasting vigil on January 1-2, 2015.  Beginning on  Thursday at 6:00 p.m., through Friday 9:00 p.m, we will join with other churches from the Greater Lansing Area to seek the Lord for our community as well as a greater level of unity in area churches.

“Fire By Night” Worship Gathering

CCV will host a “Fire By Night” worship gathering for the Lansing area Vineyard churches on Sunday, November 30th at 6pm.  This is a great opportunity to come together in worship and thanksgiving as we seek God’s presence and welcome his Spirit to minister to us.

 

Monthly Prayer Focus 

As we focus this month on our Evangelism Ministry, pray for increased courage in sharing the reason for our HOPE with those God puts in our paths.  Pray for our hearts to be burdened by the lost, and that we would have gentleness and respect, as we share Jesus with those around us (I Peter 3:15).  Pray for God to release salvation, that many would come to him for life in Christ, and be connected to the body through our ministry at CCV.

 

Ladies Holiday Tea

All women and young ladies are invited to a holiday tea, hosted by Michelle McWethy.  Festivities are scheduled for December 5th, at 7:00pm.  More details to come!

Compelling Conference

Prayer support opportunities, for anyone who would like to be involved with the prayer rooms of the statewide Intervarsity Conference coming up November 14-16.  Compelling is held each year in the Kellogg Center of MSU.  Prayer support is needed at various times throughout the weekend.  If you would like to be involved, please contact Beki Burns, at the CCV office (517) 337-9121.
