Youth Group Begins Tonight!

From Sept. 18th on, our Jr. High students (6th-8th Graders) will now be invited to attend Youth Group Meetings on Sunday evenings.  Jr. & Sr. High will join for a short time of youth-led worship, followed by Jr. & Sr. High specific small groups for Bible study and discussion. Youth Group begins tonight at 6:00pm, at the CCV Ministry Center.

“Decision America” Prayer Rally

Please note the bulletin insert for a prayer rally on the Capitol steps, October 4th, with Franklin Graham. The rally is a non-partisan opportunity to join together in prayer for the November elections.

Home Groups

Home Groups have begun!  You are still welcome to join at any time.  Home Groups are a great way to build community and relationships within the CCV body.  Each week throughout the school year we have groups that meeting Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings.  For more information, or to join a home group, sign-up today at the Welcome Station.

Shoemaker Anniversary Celebration

Join us in celebrating Pastor Kevin and Beth Ann’s 25th wedding anniversary!  Next Sunday, September 25th, we will have a dessert reception immediately after church. Gifts are not expected, but words of blessing and encouragement are welcome!!!

Over the fall/winter, a small group of us at CCV will be meeting on Sunday morning’s (9am to 9:50am) to honestly and authentically pursue Jesus, so we

can respond to His leading. Put another way, what is He asking us to lean into, start doing or stop doing as we move closer and more fully into His will for our

lives. We will begin meeting on September 18th.  If you are seriously considering being a part of this group, please speak to Gerald Alvaro or contact our church office at (517)337-9121.

Our Condolences

Please pray for the Alvaro family, as they grieve the loss of Gerald’s father, Domenico Alvaro, who went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 15th. 

Fire-By-Night Picnic & Worship Gathering
