I Love My City/Labor for Your Neighbor—April 26th
“I Love My City” is almost here! See bulletin insert or visit lovemycitylansing.org for details on how to join with area churches and residents to love Lansing next Sunday!
Community Garden
Spring is here and it’s time to get started on our community garden! This is a great opportunity to enjoy gardening while getting to know our CCV neighbors. Plots cost $20 each and can be reserved on a first come/first served basis by signing up at the welcome center and paying the fee to the CCV office.
Support for the Shoemaker’s
Let’s join together in welcoming the newest members of the Shoemaker family! As the family has grown significantly, there are a few things we can do to support them during this transition time. To help out with meals for the next several weeks, sign up at takethemameal.com (username: shoemaker, password: CCV) or to help with practical needs, see the display in the café. If you have questions, see Vicki Johnson.
Monthly Prayer Focus: Biblical Equipping
As we focus this month on our Biblical Equipping ministry, please pray for our church leaders to be attuned to the Holy Spirit; for Pastor Kevin to have wisdom as he teaches, preaches, and counsels; and for those in leadership to correctly handle the Word of God. (“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15).
