Women’s Prayer Group

Our new Women’s Prayer Group is now meeting at Lela Vandenberg’s Home (1912 W. Rundle, Lansing 48910) on Tuesday evenings.  They will be meeting on May 31st, June 7th, 21st, and 28th (skipping June 14th).  All women are welcome to come.    For more information please call Lela at 282-1197.

 

Jesus Party Cookouts!

During the summer we gather more informally for what we call “Jesus Party Cookouts”.  These bi-weekly gatherings are a great way to get or stay relationally connected through the summer months.   Please bring your own meat for the grill and a dish to pass.  Paper products and drinks will be provided by CCV. We hope you’ll join us for our first party on June 1st at 6:30pm at the CCV Ministry Center, and every two weeks thereafter (see the bulletin or website for location updates).

New Arrivals!

Congratulations again to Todd and Carli Hargett, as well as to Songquing and Hongya (Lucy) Chen on the births of their new babies.  Amaris  Anneliese  Hargett arrived on Monday, April18 at 6.30am.  She was born 7lbs 13oz, and 20 ¾ inches long.    Justin Chen was also born on Monday April 18, weighing in at 6lbs and 7oz.  In accordance with Chinese customs, Lucy will be at home with Justin for one month.

Batter Up! Spring means softball is in the air. We are looking for 13 or more people to create a CCV softball team. The league will begin on May 2nd and end August 8th. Games will be Monday nights at Benjamin Davis Park in S. Lansing. The Cost is $25 per person. which will cover the cost of your t-shirt and a baseball cap.  If you’re interested please be sure to sign up in the café TODAY. Women’s Retreat Update

If you are attending the Women’s Retreat at Camp Faholo, the $110 cost is due by April 14th. Please make your check out to CCV with “Retreat” in the memo section.  Checks can be placed in the offering boxes or brought to the retreat.

 

Vineyard Good Friday Service

Plan to join us for our annual Lansing area Vineyard Good Friday Worship Gathering at Living Hope Vineyard, from 7-9pm on Friday, April 22nd

Childcare will be provided for kids 0-3 years old.

To help finance these important projects, donations to our Building Fund are welcomed and encouraged.  Our projected renovation costs are about $5000.
