During the summer we gather more informally for what we call “Jesus Party Cookouts”.  These gatherings are a great way to stay relationally connected. Come rain or shine, our next party is next Wednesday August 10^th at 6:30pm., at Dave and Michelle McWethy’s Home. 

Annual CCV Church Campout

Please be sure to sign up if you’d like us to reserve a campsite for you at our annual family campout on Labor Day weekend, September 2^nd-5^th.

Funeral For Karen Hiltunens Mother

Ethel Wargul, 91 years old past away on August 2nd.  The Funeral will be held on Friday, August 5th at 10:00am.  Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home, 900 East Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI.

June 15^th at 6:30pm at the CCV Ministry Center.   This will be a special goodbye party for Jim & Donna Boerma, who are leaving soon for one year of missionary service in Indonesia.  Dessert will be provided for this occasion, so please bring a salad or side dish for the meal.

We are so excited to celebrate the new arrival in the Hargett home. We hope you will join us  for this celebration on Friday June 24^th at 6:30pm. With the news of Patrick Witgen’s new job, Darla will be resigning her position as our CCV Office Assistant.  This week we will be interviewing candidates so she can begin training her replacement.  If you’re interested in this part-time (12 hrs.) job opportunity, please contact Pastor Kevin no later than this Wed., June 8th.
