Softball

Unfortunately, the CCV Softball Team is going to have to sit this season out.  Due to scheduling conflicts, we were unable to find a night that would work for the whole team. 

 

“Fire By Night”

Make plans to join us Sunday, April 29th from 6:00-8:00pm, as we press in to God’s presence with an extended time of worship and prayer ministry.  This is a great opportunity to “make room for God” to move in your life!

Pre-service prayer time begins at 9:00am and last until 9:45am.  Please join us in the Prayer Room, around the corner from the café fireplace, as we seek God’s presence and anointing on our ministry and our worship gathering.

Enjoy some fellowship and support our HPA members!  Friday, April 13th, join us at 5:30pm for dinner at The Gavel, in Charlotte, and then see The Wizard of Oz at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center.  In order for us to make dinner reservations, today is the last day to sign up for the meal.  Tickets for the performance cost $8.00 and can be purchased at www.hpami.org.  Tickets are selling quickly,  so be sure to buy yours soon!

 

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Our next monthly prayer meeting will be held from 8am – 9am, Saturday April 14th in the prayer room. 

 

Children’s Ministry Volunteers

Bring your smiles, next Sunday, April 15th.  Matt Rider will be taking photos for picture badges for all children’s ministry teachers and helpers.

Messiah Practice

There will be practice for the children’s presentation of the Easter Messiah, this Saturday, April 7th, from 10am – 2pm.  Children should bring a packed lunch.  A snack and drinks will be provided.  If you have any questions, please see Marjorie Cooper.

Share Easter

Invite family or friends to join us for Easter, next Sunday, April 8th.  The children will be performing songs from The Easter Messiah, in addition to our Resurrection Celebration.

Sunday April 1st

This Sunday, we are thrilled to have a guest preacher, Skip Preston, who will be speaking on “The Gift of Healing”.  Skip will be sharing what the LORD has been teaching him about healing, in the time since his wife was diagnosed with cancer.  Please be in prayer this week about who the LORD is laying on your heart to invite to our worship celebration, as we learn about and practice this spiritual gift.
