Harvest Party

“LORD, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us.”

This quote from Isaiah 26:12 summarizes in a large way what God has done among us as we have chosen to follow His leading through Pastor Kevin. By making room for God, we who were at the Anniversary-Open House-Harvest Party have come to appreciate a measure of the scope of what we can experience as we each plan to make even more room for His Kingdom work that will brighten our beacon on the hill.

I’m thrilled with the multiple demonstrations of leadership, service, and love I experienced today with the family of Capital City Vineyard Church. From grillmeisters to the gamemeisters, there was something for everyone. I have no idea how many nations were represented as people came to our fete; but I’m hopeful that many went away having had mountaintop encounters.

I could go on and on, but I need to get ready for work. So I’ll conclude with my profound thanks to God for calling me to his church at CCV. And I thank Kevin for casting the vision and all the servants who pulled together to make the day a pinnacle in our history.

Love and blessings, dear family of families.          -Kim Hiltunen
